A door that has derailed from its tracks needs careful realignment, not force. We reset it safely and check for the underlying cause.

A garage door that has jumped its tracks is one of the more visibly alarming problems a homeowner can encounter, with the door sitting crooked or refusing to move at all. It is also one that should not be forced back into place by hand, since the rollers and tracks can be bent further in the process. Our garage door off-track repair service in Wheat Ridge, CO realigns the door properly and checks the tracks, brackets, and rollers to understand why it derailed in the first place.
Every job on garage door off-track repair starts with a clear diagnosis and an honest conversation about cost before any work begins. No guesswork, no vague estimates.
Call 1 (833) 652-7571Securing the door safely before any adjustment begins
Carefully guiding rollers back into properly aligned tracks
Checking the tracks themselves for bends or damage
Adjusting or replacing brackets that have loosened or shifted
Testing smooth operation across the full range of motion
Common causes include a bent track, a loose roller bracket, an obstruction that catches the door mid-cycle, or an impact from a vehicle or object striking the door.
It is best not to. Forcing a door back into place can bend the track further or damage the rollers, and there is a real risk of the door dropping unexpectedly while you are working near it.
Once the underlying cause, whether a bent track or loose bracket, has been addressed, the door should track normally. We check for that root cause specifically rather than only resetting the rollers.
